We are currently living in our new city.  The first year here has passed by so quickly.  It is hard to believe that a whole year of teaching English, going on camping trips, meeting over a meal with friends and acquaintances has passed.  With our friends we try and share with them the good news as we can and look for new ways to share as well as for new acquaintances to share with.  So far things seem to be slow, but we try to press on.  Right now we are trying to reach out and up.

I am compelled to speak.  Woe to me if I do not speak the good news.

For His love compels us, ...Therefore, if anyone is in Him, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!  All this is from the Almighty, who reconciled us to himself through His Son and gave us the assignment of reconciliation: that the Almighty was reconciling the world to himself in His Son, not counting men's sins against them.  And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

Our goal and desire is to work in this area of the world.  We hope to work amongst people of different cultures and belief systems than our own.  Our overall goal is to talk with them about the love of our Father and show them His love as well.  After they, through His work upon their lives, come to realize His love and accept the offer to be a part of His family, we desire to be His instrument to aid in their continued growth.  It is like being born into a family with parents and children.  The children must grow up so that they can become parents some day.  This is our heart and desire.  We plan to do that amongst the people wherever we live.  He will help, guide, and strengthen us.

We plan to use the opportunities provided us by teaching English, climbing, meeting people in the market, and other ways to reach out to the people here. It is slow going right now, but we hope for a brighter future.  While we believe that having goals and plans is beneficial, we have come to realize that this life is often taken only one step at a time. Things are always changing and that is especially true for us. But He has led, is leading and will continue to do so.

Go and make followers of all nations, dunking them in my name, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.

If He is to stay alive in His people then it must be done by way of following.  This is done by the method of transferring one life onto another.  We as humans look up to people all the time.  From time to time we really latch onto a particular one.  We begin to emulate them by living the same way.
