As a family we have a couple of convictions that we have held for quite awhile.  We would like to share two of them with you now.

Making Followers

We believe that our Father gave us the job to make followers.  He did not just tell us to invite people into the body and leave it at that.  When new brothers and sisters are adopted into the body it is our job to see them develop. 

Growing

We also believe that it is important to grow where you are planted.  It is true that people should make plans and goals.  We just should not get caught up so much in the future that we do not focus on the now.  We are where we are for a reason and should take advantage of that.  Sometimes it is talking to a neighbor.  Other times it is giving food to the beggar on the street.  And still other times we are to spend quality time with our family growing.  We believe we are meant to grow where we are planted. Whether the ground is hard or soft, the soil difficult or not, the season dry or rainy, we must dig deep and drink from the living water. We know that it is not the difficulty or ease of circumstances that dictate His will, but either way He provides the strength to endure.
